A mat designed for performance above all else

This mat is our grippiest option, designed to meet the demands of the most intense practices. Its reinforced diamond texture offers superior grip, even with heavy perspiration. However, this increased grip may seem less necessary for gentle or static practices — it is therefore not essential for all yoga practices.

For gentler practices: meditation, hatha, yin yoga, restorative. Our first mat, the Yuniko 100% recycled TPE mat, remains our most ecological option and offers ample grip. It's your practice that determines the right mat, not the other way around.

Our manufacturing process

The TPE in our mats comes from recycled objects; we do not manufacture from virgin plastic. This material is compression molded in one piece, without adhesive: the reinforced diamond texture, nubs, and engraved logo are formed directly, without layering.

Our pigments include a portion of natural dyes; the rest are synthetic dyes, selected to remain compliant with the GRS, REACH, and PAHs certifications of the material.

Each mat undergoes quality control before shipping: no defects are tolerated for sale. Mats with a defect are not discarded — they are reintegrated into the recycling circuit.

Our manufacturing partner, located in China, is certified for the working conditions of its employees and the materials we use to make our mats.

Carbon footprint

Finally, our carbon footprint is negative despite importing our mats by sea. All our mats come from polluting, recycled objects that would have otherwise ended up in our oceans, forests, and animals. Furthermore, our maritime and road delivery partners in France limit their footprint.
